Introduction |
Slip & anti-block |
Slip &
anti-block agents are incorporated directly into the
polymer during the extrusion process. They work by
migrating to the surface as the polymer cools forming a
solid lubricating layer at the surface. This acts to lower
the friction or adhesion between contacting polymer
surfaces and the polymer and other materials. |
Anti-fog |
Anti-fogging
agents which can be incorporated into the polymer during
the extrusion process. They migrate to the surface both
raising the surface energy of the polymer and lowering the
surface energy of any water droplets. This changes the
interfacial tension between water and the polymer surface
allowing the condensed water droplets to spread into a
continuous and uniform transparent layer on the fabricated
film. |
Anti-static |
Anti-static
agents that are incorporated into the polymer during the
extrusion process. They migrate to the surface and
interact with atmospheric moisture reducing surface
resistively and hence dissipating high electric charge
densities, to give a long-lasting anti-static effect to
the plastic part. |
UV Protection |
The unique
patented technology of the
UV Protection
is based on ultra-fine metal oxides, providing greater
dispersion and clarity than ever before. Unlike organics,
the easy-to-use stable dispersions deliver low migration
and long-term UV protection. In film and bottle packaging
UV Protection
protects contents from the harmful
effects of UV light, giving consumer products greater
shelf appeal. |
Concentrate |
Using a
concentrate gives better dispersion and overcomes
complications that can be encountered when using additives
in their natural physical forms. |
